This is an old-fashioned plastic model recently re-released by Aurora.
The resemblance to the character in the Planet of the Apes is passable,
but the base is a bit odd. Presumably it is intended to represent an urban
area after the nuclear holocaust that eventually resulted in the apes becoming
the dominant species on the planet. However, I don't recall any scenes
in the original movie that take place in such a setting.
I'm not sure what the green "ooze" on top of the bricks is supposed
to be. It might be some sort of mossy vegetation, or it might be melted
glass. I assumed it was the latter, and I added a considerable amount of
dust (mostly baking soda) to represent setted ash ("fallout").
